Forrest Lake has always consisted of mostly homeowners and is currently at a high 92% owner occupied.  There are a few owners that do lease out their homes.  Most of our few renters have been long term residents of Forrest Lake.  In fact, a few of our past renters loved Forrest Lake so much that they ended up buying a home here.

Over the last 30 years Forrest Lake has worked hard at maintaining a high standard of civil conduct among its residents and this has resulted in a very unique, convivial and attractive community   It is the intention of Forrest Lake to maintain this quality of life.  Forrest Lake does require that renters submit to a criminal background check, sexual predator background check and a current written lease be on file with the office.  Renters are also required to abide by all provisions laid out in the By-Laws.  Forrest Lake will take action against any resident (owner and/or renter) that does not abide by the By-Laws which may result in fines being charged.
